Charlotte & Matthew

December in The Lakes often means snow, and this year that’s exactly what happened! I drove to Charlotte and Matthew’s wedding with a mix of fear and excitement zipping through me… how would the couple handle the extreme weather on their big day. I needn’thave worried. I arrived to find Matthew and his groomsmen out in the groundswhile they waited for the ceremony to get underway. Charlotte stayed serenely quiet about the weather until the ceremony was over, then she was out in the snow like everyone else. What-the-Pluck provided some wonderfully ambient music for the proceedings, then gave way to the fantastic Seals band for the evening, who kept the dancefloor buzzing until the early hours. Snow definitely did NOT stop play!
