Ellie and Matt finally got married in early December 2020, after a number of Covid-related postponements and rearrangements. The weather was overcast, but that didn’t damped spirits. I met the lads at St James Church, and Ellie arrived in a Rolls Royce- courtesy of Dovecote Wedding Cars. After the ceremony, we travelled to Furness Abbey, more specifically the iconic arched gateway, for a short photoshoot. Then, on to Abbey House, to celebrate and enjoy the rest of the day. The hotel looked amazing, decked out for Christmas, and when the lights are switched on, it is such a special place to hold your wedding. Thanks to Ellie and Matt for choosing me to shoot their wedding. Best wishes for the future.
‘Well, what can we say is that Steve was absolutely brilliant before, on the day, and also afterwards. He made us feel comfortable, and it was a pleasure to meet him. The pictures we received-on a USB drive in a wooden box-were lovely, as was the CD slideshow. Every picture from the day was better than we ever could have guessed. All of them perfect, and taken from lovely angles and using the light really well. The black-and-white photos were stunning. We can’t wait to see the album that Steve does for us. We would recommend Steve for any occasion where you would need a photographer, and without any doubt we would always contact him for any pictures in the future. Thank you so much Steve. You’ve managed to capture the whole day with your amazing pictures, which we will cherish always. All our thanks and well wishes. Ellie and Matt.’
