An August wedding, hot and sunny, with The Lakes as a backdrop: that was how it happened for Vickie and Steven. They chose Broadoaks Country House Hotel as their venue, and opted for an outdoor ceremony, which was a perfect match for the stunning August day.

Vickie’s children walked her down the aisle, which brought a tear to everyone’s eye. Later, guests were treated to a barbeque-style meal, which suited this relaxed, fun-filled wedding perfectly. I love a ‘fountain’ shot, and Broadoaks has the perfect one in its grounds. Later in the evening, when everyone had cooled off, we took the opportunity to wander the beautiful Broadoaks gardens for an extended photoshoot.
