A sunny September Saturday heralded the wedding of Joe and Kieran – the 21st September to be precise – and the wedding had a distinctly ‘Barrow’ flavour!

The whole wedding party donned their glad rags at the Abbey Apartments, directly opposite The Nan Tait building, where the ceremony was to be held. After a poignant family wedding ceremony here, the whole party of family and friends walked through Barrow town centre to another iconic venue – The Imperial Hotel – and also took the opportunity to have some photographs taken in the grounds of the stunning sandstone Town Hall.

Joe, Kieran, dad and Steve Hillman also popped down to Roa Island to have few extra photos in their favourite Barrow seaside venue, before they returned to ‘TheImp’ for formal speeches and a wonderful meal with their guests.Later, the wedding party were entertained by Lyndsey Sings, followed by some DJ floor-fillers that kept everyone dancing for the rest of the evening.
